Manual Payment: A New Payment Option for Your Event

We are excited to introduce a new payment method on our platform—Manual Payment. This option allows event organizers to offer more flexibility to their customers by accepting payments outside of our standard payment processors.

What is Manual Payment?

Manual Payment gives you the freedom to specify how your customers can pay for their tickets. Instead of going through the platform's automatic payment systems, customers can send their payments directly to you using the method you choose. This could be through an International Bank Account Number (IBAN), Cash App, or any other payment platform you prefer.

How It Works:

  1. Set Up Manual Payment:

    • When creating or editing an event, select "Manual Payment" as one of the payment options.

    • Specify the details for your preferred payment method. For example, provide your IBAN for bank transfers or your Cash App username for direct payments.

  2. Customer Payment Process:

    • When a customer selects Manual Payment at checkout, they will see the payment instructions you’ve provided.

    • They will then send the payment to you directly according to those instructions.

  3. Reference Code:

    • Each customer will receive a unique reference code when they choose the Manual Payment option.

    • Customers should include this reference code when sending the payment to ensure it can be easily matched with their ticket purchase.

  4. Confirming Payment:

    • After receiving the payment, you can check the reference code against the ticket order to confirm that the payment has been made.

    • Once confirmed, you can manually mark the ticket as paid in your event dashboard.

Manual Payment Instructions:

1. Access Your Event Dashboard:

  • Step 1: Log in to your account and go to your Dashboard.

  • Step 2: From the dashboard, you will see a list of your events. Click on the event for which you want to set up Manual Payment.

2. Navigate to Ticketing:

  • Step 3: Once inside the event, go to the Ticketing section. Here, you manage all aspects of your ticket sales.

3. Select Manual Payment:

  • Step 4: In the Ticketing section, find the Payment Provider options.

  • Step 5: Click on Manual Payment to choose this as a payment method.

4. Set Up Payment Instructions:

  • Step 6: After selecting Manual Payment, a new window will pop up where you can enter your payment instructions.

  • Step 7: In the description box, specify how you want customers to pay, whether it's through an IBAN, Cash App, or another method.

  • Step 8: Additionally, you can upload a photo related to the payment, such as a screenshot of your payment details or a QR code.

5. Save Your Settings:

  • Step 9: After filling out the necessary details, click Save to apply the Manual Payment option to your event.

  • Direct Access: Get payments directly without any intermediaries.

  • Easy Tracking: The generated reference code makes it simple to track and verify payments.

  • Remember to promptly confirm payments to ensure a smooth experience for your customers.
